Position: Receptionist

Pay: Pay 12.50 to £14.50 (dependent on experience)

Location: Near Crawley (20minutes)

Full Time (40 Hours per week)

Required

• 2 Year experience as a receptionist

Heart Dental have an exciting position for a Dental Receptionist you will be the first person the patient sees upon entering the practice. 

The main purpose of the job is to provide friendly and efficient front-of-house service to patients and visitors, book appointments and support the organisation.

Responsibilities and duties:

•Answering the phone in a polite and timely manner 

•Booking and changing appointments both in-person and over the phone

•Ensuring patients are booked in upon arrival and the clinicians are made aware.

•Dealing with incoming enquiries from patients, in person, over the phone or via email.

•Sending communications to patients using their chosen method. 

•General administration such as scanning or photocopying.

•Ensure patient records are kept up to date and stored securely.

Qualities 

•Good, friendly telephone manner

•Knowledge of diaries and appointments systems.  

•Work systematically and communicate to team members effectively.

•Ability to manage phone systems, email correspondence, and face-to-face queries

•Following instructions and processes under the guidance of your manager

•Good organisation and processing skills

•Ability to apply policies into practice regarding GDPR, Complaints, information governance 

•Ability to work under pressure and work as a team

Position: Practice Manager

Pay: £35K+ (Based on experience)

Full Time: 42 Hours Per Week

•Compliance & Safety: Uphold the highest standards of health and safety, cross-infection control, and patient confidentiality. Your vigilance and knowledge of regulatory requirements, including GDPR, will ensure the practice remains compliant and secure..

•Interaction & Collaboration: Facilitate open and effective interactions within the practice and with senior management and suppliers. Regularly organise practice meetings to align the team with our goals and ensure everyone is informed and engaged.

•Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient care. Your proactive approach will drive the practice forward, keeping us at the forefront of dental care.
